Hello! My name is Maria and I am happy you are reading this. I believe healing happens through connection - with ourselves, with others, and with the communities that support us. My love for social work is rooted in its commitment to dignity, relationships, and collective well-being. I strive to create a warm, affirming space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

With six years of experience, I have worked with children, teens, adults, older adults, couples, and families. I support clients navigating trauma, relationship challenges, BIPOC-related experiences, life transitions, LGBTQ+, chronic illness, dissociation, grief, and loss. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person's needs, drawing from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

I work best with clients who want therapy to be both supportive and action-oriented. There is always room to process, vent, and feel heard, but our work will also focus on developing practical tools, identifying patterns, building on your strengths, and taking concrete steps toward the change you want. You do not have to navigate life's challenges alone - we can work together towards your goals.

I enjoy spending time with my family, I love being a mother to my human and fur babies. I like to embroider, go for walks, read books, and listen to music. I am a WY native, but currently reside in the state of Colorado.
